Here is the 1998 Screen Saver updated with several new animations. The Screen saver is in two parts. The main part is the .scr file. The main Screen saver piece should be saved in the Windows or WinNT directory. This contains a fix to the code from 1998s .scr file. You need to download this piece even if you have the one from 1998.

The other pieces of the screen saver are the animations themselves. The actual files should be saved in their own directory. The default directory is named: C:\Snowman. However you can save them in any directory you want but you will have to push the Settings... button in the Screen Saver Panel and tell the Screen Saver where the snowman directory is. For example if you have placed the snowman files in F:\Snowman the settings panel will look like this: Main Screen Saver.

I removed the 480 by 360 AVI files. It turns out they are 220 Meg Compressed. E-Mail Jim if you would like a CD of them. The CDs are free for friends (if I know you from someplace) and $10.00 for non-friends.

If you have 1998's Screen saver's AVI files you will not need these following files.

These files in this section have been updated from 1998.

These files are new for 2002.
